I've completely renovated my shop and every item I have photographed is up and ready to go. The store is on the Square card reader platform, so everything should be seamless, visible online and when I sell in person at an event, and make it quick to check out, especially if you've either already have a Square account or have made any purchases from a business that utilizes it (or if not, no worries, checking out in person or online will still be easy). Current items available include some larger, statement style fused glass necklaces, three of which are below. Additionally, I submitted this series of necklaces to this year's Craftys in the jewelry category and have made it to the Finalist round. The award ceremony will be in February.

I mentioned earlier I had started a new series of 2-D works that I'm currently photographing. As I document them, I've been also been taking a few detail shots of each. I've been very happy with result and think they're an interesting way to play with finished works. Given their graphic nature, I decided to make a few of the details, what I've titled Insets, available on t-shirts, bags, and prints through my artist shop at Threadless. I'm really pleased with the results, particularly the prints and bags, so as I continue to take images, I'll make more of my new series available there since it will take me a bit to get them all up here and on social media. Even thought not all images are yet up at the shop, I wanted to announce it now for anyone possibly in need of some holiday gifts as Threadless is currently offering free shipping on $45 or more with FREESHIP671e90 until December 5th. The three works currently available through the shop are below.
It's been a bit of a hiatus, but I'm excited to say that I and my husband (and cats) have officially relocated to south west Wisconsin and, for the most part, are unpacked and moved in. I've got my new studio space up and running and have started a new series of works since we've moved. I'm currently photographing, so those should be hitting the website and social media soon.
VIDA has launched a new product: sheer wraps. For the launch, artists were able to upload one design. Mine features one of my black and white xerox prints created using antique doilies given to me by family or brought back from a trip to Prague, Czech Republic. It's available in either regular and petite sizes. This particular design can be found here.
Regardless of when (or for what) you shop, VIDA seems to offer relatively regular coupon codes, so make sure to check at the top of the website. Additionally, at the time I am writing this, the next 8 customers who purchase from my collection will receive a $25 VIDA gift card. |
