The latest piece from the Memory series, Memory XVII, is done. This work incorporated some of most unusual shapes I have filled with crochet stitches so far. It's 24in X 18in unframed and was created by spraying acrylic paint through found vintage and antique crochet doilies. After applying the paint, I then stitched through and crocheted on top of the paper with found fiber. The original is currently scheduled to be included a solo show that opens at the end of October but print options are now available at Society 6 and Redbubble.
Black Blue Brown I will be on display at the Yeiser Art Center in Fantastic Fibers,
