Stain 23 will be included in the Juried Art Show 2022 at the Maria V. Howard Art Center in the Imperial Centre in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. An annual exhibition, JAS accepts entries from across the country and emphasizes a broad range of art forms, materials, and styles.
The show opens Friday, May 6th and will run until August 14, 2022. A reception will be held Sunday, May 15 from 2pm–4pm for award announcements with Juror Jan Sullivan-Volz. 

Memory XIV, the newest work from the Memory series, is finished and is 24in X 18in unframed.
This piece was created by spraying acrylic paint through found vintage and antique crochet doilies and over solid circular doilies I crocheted myself and repurposed from a graduate school project. After applying the paint, I then stitched through and crocheted on top of the paper with found fiber.

Stain 33 and Memory XII will be on display as part of the Art on Lockdown exhibition at Quad City Arts in Rock Island, Illinois. The show will run October 15th - December 3rd, 2021.
An in-person opening reception will be held on October 15th from 6-9pm. The show can be viewed online starting on that day as well.
